We live in a world that has different standards for different things by different people. Some dont even have any standard at all, for them anything goes. So many just drift around anywhere the winds of change blows them.
However i believe there’s always a higher standard of doing things. Yes agreed everyone’s definition of higher standard differs according to context, however I’ve always used the holy scriptures, the bible, as my own guiding standard, i ask “what does God’s word say about this?”.
So whether its in business, in life, with my family or friends, thats one standard ive used and its worked so many times for me. I’ve seen several stories that almost resembles the current situation I’m facing, and when i check to see how that current situation was handled, i just use the standard again and apply it to my circumstance.
Now like I’ve said, this may not apply to you, but always remember there’s always a higher standard of doing things and at some point in life, you have to set those high standards for yourself to live by. They’ll guide you when you’ve lost your way and help make important decisions that somewhat look vague to you.
Stop living with general standards or what will people say standards, start setting and living with a higher standard.
